We are Angel and Kerry, owners and certified dog trainers for AngelKerr Dog Training and Pet Services. We are very grateful to be a part of this wonderful company and to be able to bring the Canny Collar to all parts of Canada.

As trainers and dog walkers we know what an inconvenience it can be when your dog doesn’t want to walk obediently with you but thanks to the Canny Collar we can bring that loose leash experience to all our training clients. We trust this effective collar so much that one of the requirements for our ‘adventure walks’ is that all the dogs must use one. With over 20 years of combined pet care experience, we are extremely passionate about what we do and we can’t wait to spread awareness and to educate dog owners on loose leash walking.

Kerry has over 18 years of experience in the pet industry. Her background as a vet assistant has been all about caring for client’s pets. Kerry is the administrator, main receptionist and lead pet sitter for our AngelKerr business.

As well as assisting her husband with the AngelKerr adventure group walks, Kerry also manages our social media and PR. She adores dogs and is currently in a canine training program aspiring to be a CCPDT (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers) dog trainer!

Angel is the head behavior consultant/trainer for AngelKerr Dog Training and Pet Services and the lead walker for our adventure walks. He has worked for the well-know Canadian pet store groups Global Pet Foods for six years and has acquired a vast knowledge of nutrition, supplements and training tools.

Angel is ABC and CCPDT certified and continues to accumulate knowledge, firmly believing that we are never truly done learning. As a trainer who strongly believes in positive reinforcement based training methods, Angel is the perfect fit to promote this gentle and effective tool throughout Canada.

TRAINS YOUR DOG TO WALK ON A REGULAR COLLAR

Can be used in both ‘training collar mode’ and ‘regular collar mode’ by easily dropping the slip line (nose band) off your dog's nose as needed. This way, you can train your dog to eventually walk on a regular collar and lead.

 

A COMFORTABLE FIT

The slip line over your dog’s nose is soft, strong and adjusts easily to fit the shape of your dog’s face. As it is only one light piece of webbing, your dog is able to breathe easily, pant and even carry a ball or toy in her mouth. Because of this, it will never be confused with a muzzle when meeting other dog owners.

The collar that fits around the neck is made from high quality, padded, cushioned webbing which is both strong and comfortable. When your dog is happy she will be much more receptive to training.

 

TOTAL CONTROL

Your lead attaches to the D rings on the slip line. This works independently of the collar, giving you a direct connection to your dog’s ‘steering’.

The slip line eliminates pulling and lunging by applying gentle pressure when your dog pulls and immediately releasing the pressure as your dog stops. The collar part stays in a fixed position, just like your dog’s regular collar.

 

SAFE & SECURE

Because the Canny Collar fastens behind the head and not under the chin, your dog cannot lift her paw over her lead and pull the collar off her head. Even if she manages to get a claw into the slip line and pull it off her nose, your lead is still secured to the D rings and so she cannot escape.

The nickel-plated steel buckle provides added reassurance and ensures a secure fastening that will never snap free. This means your dog is always safe, avoiding any potential danger for both of you.

 

LARGE BREED DOGS

If your dog's neck measures more than 58cm, for larger dogs the Canny Colossus is the same design but with beefier, more heavy-duty fittings.
